Built in 1945 by Albert Svenson, Pukavik, Sweden as schooner ORION for Rederi AB Tellus (mngr. Arthur Wingren) Oskarhamn, Sweden, in 1949 sold to Denmark, renamed TULLAN.
She traded timber in the Baltic and British east coast, laid up in Thisted (Dk.) in 1974.
In 1979 purchased by Square Sail Ltd., complete restoration commenced in 1985, renamed EARL OF PEMBROKE, which was the original name of HMS ENDEAVOUR (Captain Cook) homeport Bristol, Gt:185 displacement:352, Loa:44.20m. (145') B:7.30m. (24') Draft:3.20m. (10.5') 6 cyl. MAN diesel:300 hp. crew:15, 50 passengers for daytrips, 12 for longer trips.
In 1994 commissioned as a barque of the 18th century, 2012 sold by old owner Square Sail Ltd. to Metaco LLP.
