Panama issued in 2019 a series of five stamps and one label which shows us vessels registered in it Panama Ship Registry which was founded in 1917 and the largest ship registry in the world.

She was built as a container vessel under yard no 4277 by Daewoo Shipbuilding & Marine Engineering Co., Ltd. Okpo, South Korea for Xiangtian International Ship, Panama
09 July 2013 contract was signed.
15 July 2014 laid down.
10 October 2014 launched as MSC OSCAR the first of six sisterships of the Olympic series. The OSCAR was the first vessel of the Olympic series. MSC OSCAR takes her name from the son of Diego Aponte, the president and chief executive of owner Mediterranean Shipping Company
Tonnage 192.237 gt, 111,423 net, 199,273 dwt, dim.395.5 x 59.0 x 30.3m, length bpp. 379.4, draught 16 m.
Powered by one MAN & B&W 11S 90ME-C(10.2) diesel engine, 56,250 kW normal, maximum 62,500 kW (83.800 hp). One shaft. Speed 22.8 knots.
Container capacity 19,224 TEU’s including 1,800 reefer containers.
Accommodation for maximum 35 crew.
December 2014 completed. Homeport Panama. IMO No 9703291.
Building cost US$ 140 million.
January 2015 delivered after sea trials. At that time was she the largest container vessel in the world.

She was put in the East West service from Asia to Europe. Managed by Mediterranean Shipping Company SRL, (MSC) Italy.

In the media
MSC OSCAR was the subject of an episode of the television program Mighty Ships, the second episode of the tenth series. Produced by a Canadian company, Exploration Production Inc., the program was first telecast in Canada on December 10, 2017. The series is aired in other countries as well.[10]
The ship was featured in the 2018 Semi-Final of Sky Arts Landscape Artist of the Year. The contestants were halfway through their task of painting Felixstowe Docks when the MSC OSCAR appeared.
