Built in 1944 by Stocton, Thornaby ? launced 11-04-1944 for the Royal Navy.
Landing Craft Gun (Medium) displacement 308 tons, max.380 tons, L:47.10m. B:6.81m. Draft:2.10m. max.2.44m. 2 Paxman diesels:1000 hp. 2 shafts, 11.75 kn. Endurance 1730 n.m. (11.7 kn) armament:2 x 1 - 76/55 17pdr QF Mk III, 2 x 1 - 20/70 Oerlikon Mk II/IV, complement:31.
These craft had the special ballast tanks allowing the ship laid aground on shoal for decrease of perceptibility.
