LNG POWERED BULK CARRIER HL ECO

The stamp “Korean built ships” shows us a red hulled bulk carrier, the only red hulled bulk carrier NLG fuelled built in Korea I can find is one of the two H-Line Shipping Co Ltd. bulkers. The vessel shown must be the HL ECO or HL GREEN.
The first built was the HL ECO, which was built as a gearless bulk carrier under yard no 8034 by Hyundai Samho Heavy Industries Co. Ltd., Samho, Japan for H-Line Iconic 1 SA, Panama.
12 October 2018 building contract signed.
06 April 2020 laid down.
27 June 2020 launched as the HL ECO. One sister the HL GREEN, two are more in the pipeline with delivery 2022.
Tonnage 96,500 grt, 179,649 dwt, dim. 292.0 x 45 x 24.8m., length bpp. 287.0m, draught18.0m.
Powered by an LNG-powered W6X72DF engine, manufactured by Winterthur Gas & Diesel Ltd. hp?, speed?
15 December 2020 delivered to owners, IMO 9869332. Panama flag and registry. Managed by H-Line Shipping Co. Ltd., Seoul

She is the first large bulk carrier powered by LNG gas in the world.
She and her sisters will be used in the coal transport from Australia to South Korea, and the intention is that she will make 10 round trips in a year.
