Posted: Mon Oct 25, 2021 8:40 pm
Ukraine was known as the breadbasket of the Soviet Union for its fertile fields of wheat
This painting made in 1967 by Ivan Boyko shows us a series of majestic ships waiting to be able to load wheat on board symbolizes both the agricultural and industrial greatness of the Kherson region in Ukraine.
Of the cargo vessels I have not any information or details.
Ivan Boyko's work "Queue for Bread" is in the Kherson Art Museum. OO Shovkunenko.
