Ukraine issued in 2000 a set of stamps for the XXVII Summer Olympics in Sydney, Australia of which one stamp shows us sailing yachts within the foreground the UKR I a Ukrainian yacht,
The Summer Olympics was held from 13 September till 10 October 2000 in Sydney.
The 470 class yacht was used by Olena Paholchyk and Ruslana Taran in which she win a bronze medal, but this set of stamps was issued before the games took place.
It looks on the class logo on the sail a star class yacht s depict, but the star class did not use a spinnaker, so I think a 470 class yacht is depicted in which the two Ukrainian women won a bronze medal.
I need some help to class these yachts, who can help.
