She is one of the Royal Navy ships depicted on this stamp, issued by Jamaica in 1919.

Built as a wooden teak 3 rd rate East Indiaman on the East India Companies yard at Bombay for Sayyad Said, Imaum of Muscat.
10 November 1826 launched under the name "LIVERPOOL".
Tonnage 1.776 ton (bm), dim. 177 x 48.4 x 21ft.
Armament 76 guns.
Crew 590.
She carried a figurehead of the Imaum.

She was presented by him on 09 March 1836 to the Royal Navy and renamed HMS "IMAUM".
After arrival in Portsmouth fitted out as a receiving ship for Jamaica.

Took no part in any battle under the flag of the Royal Navy.
1842 Hulked and used in harbor service at Port Royal, Jamaica.
When the Royal Navy Dockyard at Port Royal was handed over to the military the "IMAUM" was one of the four vessels left behind by the Royal Navy.
1860 Receiving ship at Jamaica.
25 August 1862 paid off.
1863 Broken up at Jamaica
