ROSLAGEN DISTRICHT FISHING BOAT

Post by aukepalmhof » Wed Apr 20, 2022 10:51 pm

Sweden issued a booklet in 1977. It is one of 5 from a booklet pane honoring poet Evert Taube. Each stamp shows a line from his poem, The Calle Schewen Waltz, which was put to music.
One of the stamps has a maritime theme, it shows us a wooden open rowing boat used for fishing in the waters of the Roslagen district. Have not any information on the type of boat depict on the stamp.
