Post by aukepalmhof » Tue Feb 28, 2023 2:20 am

Kazakhstan issued in 2022 1 stamp for the Armed Force's 30th Anniversary, and I believe 3 vessels of the Kazakhstan-class missile boat have been depicted on this stamp..
This class was built by the Uralsk Plant Zenit JSC in Kazakhstan for the Kazakh Navy..
The first ship the KAZAKHSTAN was commissioned in 2012.
Displacement 240 tons, dim. 41.8 x 7.8 x 2.5m. (draught)
Powered by 2 MTU 16V4000 M71 diesels, speed 30 knots.
Armament: KAZAKHSTAN:
1x 25mm twin 2M-3M autocannon, 2x 14.5mm machine guns,1x 40-barrel 122mm BM-21 Ogon rocket launcher.
Other ships:
1x 30mm AK-630 6-barrel CIWS, 1x quad Baryer-V missile launcher, 1x quad Arbalet-K surface-to-air missile launcher.
Crew 30.

The Kazakhstan-class missile boats are domestically produced missile boats from Kazakhstan's Uralsk Plant Zenit JSC. They are the first domestically produced naval vessels in Kazakhstan and are stationed in the Caspian Sea in service with the Kazakh Navy. Ships in the class have a displacement of 240 tons, a top speed of 30 knots, and are armed with "modernized anti-aircraft missile and artillery units. They are the largest vessels in the Kazakh Navy arsenal. There are four ships in the class, named KAZAKHSTAN, ORAL, SARVARKA, and MANGISTAU.
2023 All four ships of this class are in service.
