Guernsey Europa issues 1988 “Commucation and Transport” depict one stamp the 16p which shows us the wooden rowboat LIHOU ISLAND which once a day travels between Lihou Island and the Guernsey mainland accross the treacharous narrow channel which diveded both islands.
One of its principal purposes is to fetch the mail and other essential commodities for the residents of its one house.
When this service finished I could not find.
Now a days, Lihou the furthest west of te Channel Islands, and at low tide it is linked to the nearby L'Erée headland, on Guernsey, by a 400m long causeway.

The fate of the rowboat is also unknown to my.
