Built as a inland river passenger vessel one of Project 1168 by RUE “Pinsk Order of the Badge of Honor shipbuilding and shiprepair plant” at Pinsk, Belarus for Dneprobugvodput.
The double-decked ship “BELAYA RUS” is a large cruise ship in Belarus. Motor ship “BELAYA RUS” of project 1168 was built in 2016 at a shipyard in the city of Pinsk, Republic of Belarus. The interior decoration and fittings were completed in the spring of 2017, and since April 18, 2017 the ship has been cruising along the Polesie Waterway. This is the first and currently the only cruise ship in the Republic of Belarus. The motor ship is unique in its parameters, thanks to which it can cruise along the Dnieper-Bug canal and the rivers Bug, Mukhavets, Pina, Pripyat. The length of the ship is 50 meters, width is 7 meters. Travel speed 15.5 km / h. 16 cabins of the ship take on board up to 30 passengers. There are 16 comfortable cabins on board. The motor ship operates on the “All inclusive” system.
Currently, the final preparations of the ship are underway before going on a cruise in Pripyat. The vessel is located in Pinsk at the pier of RUESP “Dnepro-Bugsky waterway”, which is its owner.
Initially, the ship will leave for Mozyr, from where on Saturday, May 8, it will take on board the first tourists in 2021 after a year’s lay up during the Covid pandemic and set a course for Narovlya, enter the Pripyat valley, then turn towards Brest.
