CONTSHIP AMBITION

The vessel depict on the left side above in the Cyprus MS is the CONTSHIP AMBITION, the two ships depict on the other stamp are till so far not identified.

Built under yard No 003 as a gearless cellular container vessel, by Kvaerner Warnow Werft, at Warnemünde, Germany for Baleen Shipping Co. Ltd., Limassol, Cyprus.
08 January 1996 keel laid down.
31 July 1996 launched under the name CONTSHIP AMBITION. Her intended name was TELAMON but before launching changed.
Tonnage 31.207 gt, 18.703nt., 38.400dwt., dim. 209.52 x 32.20 x 19.4m., length bpp 197.87, draught 12.5m.
One B&W oil 2SA 8-cyl engine, 38.542bhp., speed 22 knots, maximum 22.3 knots. Consumption 94 MT IFO 380 CST per day for main engine, and 5 MT IFO 380 CST per day for auxiliary engines without reefer connections.
Can carry 2.890 TEU’s of which 500 reefer TEU’s. 6 Holds/11 hatches. Hatch covers: Pontoon-type.
Imo No. 9122203, call sign P3GU7.
Registered at Limnasol, Cyprus.
November 1996 completed.

She is managed by Interorient Navigation Co. Ltd, Cyprus and operated in the Contship Containerlines Lt. U.K. from Europe to Australia.

2003 Renamed in TELAMON.
2004 renamed in NORASIA TELAMON.
06 August 2007 renamed in NAUTIC, owned by Iscont Lines Ltd., Cyprus, still managed by Interorient Navigation Co. Ltd, Cyprus.
2009 Same name and owners.

2010 Sold to Plantation Key Pte. Ltd. Singapore and renamed TARA.
The same year sold to Pisti Shipping LLC, Athens, Greece, and renamed PISTI. Sailing under Panama flag and register.

2015 Renamed in ISTI and arrived Alang 16 March 2015 for scrapping, work began on 20 March 2015 by Navyug Ship Breaking Co.
