I have no information at the moment about the Umoja, according to the stamp design, but there is not the slightest doubt that she is a sister-ship of the Uhuru, the twin-screw, 2,800-ton Lake Victoria train ferry, built by Yarrow and Co. Ltd., for the East African Railways and Harbours, and diesel-powered by the English Electric Co. Ltd., Newton-le-Willows, Lancs.
