New Zealand issued in 1967 a set of stamps to draw attention to some of New Zealand's main exports. Industries included Fishing, Fruit, Timber, Wool, Meat and Dairy.
On two stamps is the bow of a cargo vessel visible, which is identified as the SURRY by this two stamps is given by the New Zealand Post:
Meat Industry - 20c

Meat carcasses being loaded onto a vessel are depicted in the left panel with Hereford cattle grazing on the right. The meat industry and its associated products are amongst New Zealand's biggest export earners.
Mr. Peter Crichton gives, I do not think the vessel shown on the 20 cent stamp is the SURREY. It appears to have a grey hull, whereas Federal/NZSC ships had a black hull. My thoughts were that it was a Port Line vessel or possibly one of the grey hulled Shaw Savill line ships. Blue Star line could also be a contender.

Dairy Industry - 25c

In the left panel a typical Taranaki dairy farm is illustrated with Mt Egmont / Taranaki in the background, in the right panel cartons of butter and cheese are being loaded onto an overseas bound vessel.

SURREY built as a cargo reefer vessel under yard No 630 by A. Stephen & Sons Ltd., Glasgow for the Federal Steam Navigation Co. London.
February 1950 ordered, together with two sister-ships, due to a shortage of steel the building was delayed and the contract date January 1952 not made.
17 October 1951 launched as the SURREY, christened by Mrs. C.W. Payne, wife of the Director of the company.
Tonnage; 8,277 gross, 4,571 net, 10,270 dwt, dim. 499.3 x 64.7 x 27ft., draught 27.3 ft., length bpp. 482.7ft.
Powered by two 9-cyl. S.C.S.A. Sulzer diesels manufactured by builders, 9,000 hp, one shaft, speed 16 knots. Bunker capacity 2,200 ton.
Cargo capacity 82,300 cubic reefer space, 518,900 cubic feet dry cargo.
06 June 1952 delivered to owners, building cost £850,000.

After her trial, she sailed to Liverpool to load her first cargo in the liner service between the U.K. and Australia.
04 June 1953 arrived Melbourne with engine problems, her starboard engine had two cylinders out of action, after a long repair which was not successful, she returned to the U.K. on only the port engine.
During that voyage she got major generator problems, and had to make a call at Colombo for repairs.
During 1957 she made for the first time a call at a New Zealand port.
03 September 1969 sold or transferred to the British India Steam Navigation Co. Ltd., London, renamed in JUWARA, named after the town of Al Juware on the coast of Oman.
She came then in the liner service of the B.I. between Australia-India-Persian Gulf.
05 February 1970 had an engine explosion at Sydney which demolished two pistons. She made one voyage on one engine before repairs took place.
09 May 1972 sold for scrapping to Tung Cheng Steel Corp., Kaohsiung, Taiwan.
