Baggala (Dhow)

BAGGALA, the most costly type of dhow, found in the Persian Gulf and the Oman Gulf. It has a richly-carved stern and quarter galleries. The stern has five windows, and on the curved stem is a surmounted horned figurehead. There are probably less than 50 of these old traditional deep sea dhows now in existence.

The Baggala beter known as Baghla but you have various spellings of the name.
