This stamp refers to the eleventh Phoenix in the Royal Navy and was a wooden paddle sloop of 802 tons, originally ordered in January 1831, at Woolwich, but completed at Chatham Dockyard, in September 1832. She was converted to a screw sloop in 1845, with an increase to 809 tons, b.m. a length of 174'/2 ft., and beam of 32 ft. She was sold for breaking up on January 26, 1864.
