Built as double hulled crude oil tanker under yard No 1106 by Hyundai Heavy Industries, South Korea for Lee Shipping, Panama. A branch of the Bermudian based company Frontline.
Launched under the name FRONT CENTURY
Tonnage 157.976 gross, 109.547 net, 311.189 dwt., dim. 334.45 x 58.00 x 31.00m., draught 22.73m., length bpp. 320.00m.
Powered by one MAN-B&W-Hyundai 7s80MC diesel engine, 25.485 kW (31.920 bhp), one shaft speed 15.7 knots, service speed.
15 Cargo tanks, total loading capacity 336.032 m³.
23 July 1998 delivered to company.

She was the first tanker of five-ship series double hulled VLCCs tankers built for Frontline by the Hyundai Heavy Industries.
May 2000 Transferred to Front Century, Liberia, and then the same year in September to Bahamas registry.
2005 Transferred to Ultimate Shipping Ltd., Marshall Islands. Under Marshall Islands flag and registry.
