Built as a passenger-cargo vessel under yard No 178 by Ailsa Shipbuilding Co. Ltd., Troon, Scotland for the North Coast Steam Navigation Co. Ltd., Sydney, N.S.W. Australia.
26 June 1907 launched under the name YULGIBAR.
Tonnage 779 gross, 467 net, 372 dwt, dim. 199.5 x 32 x 11ft.
Two triple 6-cyl. expansion steam engines, 134 nhp, twin screws.
September 1907 delivered to owners.

1925 Sold to Burns Philp (South Sea) Co. Ltd., Suva, Fiji and renamed MAKATEA.
Tonnage then 814 gross, 467 net, 359 dwt.
Dismantled and sunk 1st quarter 1933 off Mbengga Island.
