Built as a cargo- passenger vessel under yard No. 63 by Blohm & Voss, Hamburg for the Deutsche Dampfschifffarthsges. “Kosmos” AG, Hamburg.
27 April 1889 launched under the name ISIS.
Tonnage 2.534 grt., 1.544 nrt., 3.635dwt., dim. 97.84 x 11.58 x 7.11m.
One triple expansion steam engine manufactured by builder, 1.300 ihp., one propeller, speed 10 knots.
Accommodation for 61 passengers, crew 45 men.
31 July 1889 delivered to owners.

Built for the liner and mail service from Germany to the west coast of South America...
1904 was she reboilered.
24 July 1905 sold to the Hamburg Amerikanische Packetfahrt Aktien Gesellschaft (HAPAG), Hamburg.
15 August 1905 first sailing for the HAPAG from Hamburg to the West Indies.
26 January 1906 renamed in ASSYRIA.
27 March 1914 sold to Goshi Kaisha Kishimoto, Darien, and renamed URAYASU MARU.
1917 Sold to K Hamana, Nishinoniya, Japan, not renamed
1918 Sold to Kobe K.K. , Tarumi, not renamed.
1930 Broken up.
