HAVANA tanker

Built as a tanker under yard No 736 by the Admiralteiski Shipyard in Leningrad for the Russian Government.
15 May 1963 keel laid down.
30 December 1963 launched as HAVANA.
Tonnage 31.817 gross, 16.217 net, 48.590 dwt., dim. 230.51 x 31.02m. length bpp 214.0m.
Powered by two steam turbines geared to one shaft, manufactured by Kirov Works, Leningrad, 19.000 shp, speed 17 knots.
11 September 1964 completed. Homeport Odessa.

She was one of the Sofia type.
1986 Sold by the U.S.S.R.-Novorossiysk Shipping Co, Novoship, Russia to Zuru Maritime Co. Ltd., Cayman Islands, renamed ANAHAV.
The same year sold to Taiwan breakers and she arrived at Kaohsiung 03 June 1986.
Scrapped by Swie Horng Steel Enterprise Co. Ltd, Kaohsiung, commenced breaking up on 12 June 1986.
