The tanker Arges, managed by the NAVROM Romanian Maritime and Fluvial Navigation, has a gross tonnage of 22,244; net 14,492; deadweight 36,110 tons; her port of registry is Constantza. She was built in 1968, by Hitachi Zosen at Innoshima, Japan. Length overall 623 ft. 5 in., breadth 92 ft., draft 56 ft, depth 50 ft 3 in. Burmeister and Wain oil engines, 2-stroke, single-acting, 10 cylinders total horsepower 16,500. Speed 10 knots.

Built as a tanker under yard no 4100 by Hitachi Zosen in Innoshima, Japan for the Romanian NAVROM company.
Launched as ARGES one sister the OLTENIA.
Tonnage: 22,244 grt, 14,492 nrt, 36,150 tdw, dim. 190.2 x 28.05 10.97m.
Powered by Burmeister&Wain oil engines, 2-stroke single-acting 10-cyl. 16.500 hp., speed 16 knots.
Crew 59.
February 1968 completed. Homeport Constanta. IMO 6806743

1982 Sold to Luga Bay Shipping Corp., Limassol, Cyprus and renamed LARNACA.
17 June 1992 sold to Haryana Steel Co, Delhi and scrapping work commenced in Alang, India on 29 June 1992.
