URAKAMI MARU.

Built as a cargo vessel under yard No. 625 by Mitsubishi Heavy Industries Ltd., Kobe for Fukuyo Kisen K.K., Kobe.
Launched under the name URAKAMI MARU.
Tonnage 4.317 gross, 6.255 dwt., dim. 109.7 x 15.2m.
Powered by a triple expansion steam engine ?hp, speed 14 knots.
November 1941 completed.

12 November 1941 taken over by the Japanese Navy and converted in a repair and rescue vessel, her tonnage given thereafter as 4.250 grt.

30 March 1944 sunk after an attack of American aircraft in position 07 19N 134 26E. near Babelthuap at Palau.
