The inscription on the stamp is wrong, she is not the ZUIDERDAM but the STAR PRINCESS

Built as a cruise vessel under yard No. 6051 by Fincantieri Cantieri Navali Italiana, Monfalcone, Italy for P&O Princess Cruises.
05 January 1998 ordered, she was ordered by the Sitmar Lines and the intention was that she would carry the name FAIRMAJESTIC, but when P&O Princes Cruises took over Sitmar her name was changed.
10 June 1999 keel laid down
10 May 2001 floated out.
Tonnage 108.977 gross, 73.347 net, 6.750 dwt., dim. 289.51 x 36.00 x 8.00m. (draught).
Powered by four 16-cyl. and two 12-cyl. 16ZA40S Sulzer-Grandi Motori diesels, 94.167 bhp. (69.259 kW)., twin screws, speed 22.5 knots. 6 bow/stern thrusters each 2.200 hp.
Passenger accommodation in 1.296 cabins for 3.100 passengers.
25 January 2002 was her naming ceremony and delivery date; she was named STAR PRINCESS and christened by Gunilla Antonini the wife of Dr. Corrado Antonini, executive chairman of Fincantieri Cantieri Navali Italiani.
Homeport Hamilton, Bermuda.

After the ceremony she left for a 15 day positioning voyage to Singapore.
13 February 2002 she left from Singapore for her inaugural sailing for a 26 day voyage across the Pacific to Los Angeles.
After her arrival there she made a few short preview cruises.
16 March 2002 she sailed from San Francisco for her first roundtrip to the Mexican Riviera.
During the summer season she will be making cruises to Alaska.

23 March 2006 when she was one a voyage from Fort Lauderdale, USA, from where she sailed on 19 March bound for a weeklong Caribbean Montego Bay cruise, got on fire at about 03.00 a.m. after she sailed from the Grand Cayman Islands to Jamaica. The fire started on one of the balconies of the vessel on the port side.
At that time she carried 2.690 passengers and 1.123 crew. One passenger died on a hart attack and 12 were wounded mostly by smoke inhalation.
After the fire was extinguished she sailed to Jamaica where the passengers were disembarked, and subsequently were flown home.
79 Cabins were destroyed by the fire and 204 damaged.
The STAR PRINCESS was moved to Freeport, Bahamas before she headed for Germany for repair.
09 April 2006 arrived by Lloyds Werft, Bremerhaven for repair.
13 May 2006 sailed from the yard after her repair bound for Copenhagen from where she resumed its regular service on 15 May..

2007 given by http://www.equasis.org Owned by GP3 at Liberia, managed by Princess Cruises at Santa Clarita, Ca, USA. IMO No. 9192363. Under Bermudian flag.

(The shipsname on the stamp is not the correct one.)

Uruguay 2006 $37 sg?, scott? (The name ZUIDERMAN is complete wrong, the vessel depicts is the STAR PRINCESS.)
