Built as a ro-ro cargo vessel under yard No. 1219 by Ateliers et Chantiers de La Rochelle-Pallice at La Rochelle for Union Industrielle et Maritime S.A. (UIM) Marseille.
26 July 1975 launched under the name ANAHITA, christened by Mrs. Maurice Cangardel.
Tonnage 915 gross, 454 net, 1.714 dwt., dim. 86.68 x 13.30 x 9.00m., length bpp. 80.23m, draught 4.17.
Powered by one Crepelle 12-cyl. diesel engine, 2.200 bhp., maximum speed 14 knots, service speed 13 knots.
Cargo capacity 5.187m³ grain and 4.840m³ bale.
Crew 4 officers, 8 men and accommodation for 5 passengers.
November 1975 completed. Port of registry Marseille.
06 January 1976 in service, used by the UIM in the liner service in the Mediterranean from the French ports Marseille and Sete, mostly to Libya and Algeria.
June 1985 arrived for the last time in Marseille, and then laid up.
1986 Sold to Compagnie Wallisienne de Navigation S.a.r.l., Matu-Utu, Wallis et Futuna.
27 January 1986 at 14.30 sailed from Marseille under the name MOANA III for her new homeport.
2004 Sold to H.I. Kalogritsas Anonimos Techniki Naftiliake & To, Piraeus, Greece and renamed NEMOS.
