Granada

On the 10 escudos stamp of Mozambique is shown the side-wheel river gunboat Granada, one of many of the class of vessel used by the Portuguese Admiralty. While suitable for peace-time duties they would be of little effect should they have to be engaged in active service under conditions of modern warfare. I have no details of the Granada herself, so perhaps one of our Portuguese readers could assist. SG593
