She was built in 1975 by 0/Y Wartsila A/B at Helsingfors. Gross tonnage, 7,011; net 2,570. Length 104.60m, breadth 23,80m, draft 8.300 m. and depth 12.12 m. She is powered by five vee-type oil engines, four-stroke, single-acting, each 12 cylinder, developing a total b.h.p. of 23,250 b.h.p. connected to four electric motors, each of 4,103kW (5,500 s.h.p.) geared to screw shafts.
