Built under yard no 52 in 1935 by the Aalborg Msk & Skibsvs., Aalborg, Denmark for H/F Skallagrim Borgarness, Iceland.
Launched under the name LAXFOSS.
Tonnage 280 gross, dim. 133.2 x 22.1 x 11.8ft.
One 4-cyl diesel engine, 91 nhp. The engine was manufactured by Moller & Jochnensen A/S Horsen, Denmark.

She was used as a coastal-cargo-passenger vessel. Her first master was Petur Ingjaldsson till 1944
10 January 1944 she stranded at Orfirisey, a small isle at the entrance to Reykjavik. She was refloated and as the damage was minor she was put in service again after repair and lengthened with 2.2 meters.
Her gross tonnage increased to 312 tons.
In 1944 command was taken over by Capt. Porour Guomundsson, he was captain on her till she was wrecked.
1946 Her engine was replaced by 4 cyl. diesel of 141 nhp. built in 1942 by the British Auxiliaries Ltd. Glasgow.
She was wrecked near Kjalarnes on 18 January 1952. The crew was rescued.
