SEABUS submersible

Built as a submersible by the Comex Industries SA, Marseille, France.
Built with an all acrylic pressure hull, the only tourist sub built in the world with this hull.
Displacement 88.5 ton, dim. 19.26 x 4.00 x 5.40m., draught 3.1m. surface. Pressure hull diameter 2.2m.
Powered by 2 main electric thrusters each 7.5 kW, 2 electric vertical thrusters , each 7.5kW, 1 bow electric thrusters, 1 of 7.5 kW., 1 stern electric thruster of 7.5kw.
Speed surface 3 knots, submerged, maximum 3 knots.
Range submerged by a speed of 1,5 knots, 16 hours.
Operating depth 80m.
Crew 2, passengers 45.
20 March 1992 commissioned by Prince Albert of Monaco under the name SEABUS.

October 1992 sold to Aquatic Leasure International, and renamed DEEP STAR.
She has made till today 3.200 dives with tourists.
Since 2000 taken out of the water and is in a dry berth at Freeport, Bahamas.
2009 She is for sale, but it will cost you a lot of money to refit her.
