Built as a stern trawler by -Herfjord Slipp in Revsnes I Fosnaunder and completed under yard No. 238 in 1975 by Bolsones, Molde, Norway for P.E. Jensen and Partners, Frederikssund, Denmark.
December 1973 laid down
July 1974 launched under the name BENTE NORDFISK.
Tonnage 277.6 gross, 144 net, dim. 126 x 27 x 12ft. (draught).
One diesel engine (not a manufacturer's name), 990 hp.
Crew 4 or 5 men.
20 March 1975 completed.
1982 Sold to Skipper Jan Trane, Denmark, renamed after his former trawler BETTINA.
1987 Sold to Partrederi Tanganes, Faeroe Islands, renamed TANGANES. (It looks that Trane traded her in, he bought in 1986 another stern trawler with the name TANGANES 491 gross, built-in 1985 and renamed her BETTINA, which was lost on 04 Feb. 1988 120 miles southwest of Brest after engine failure and ingress of water.) 09 Dec. 1988 the TANGANES when lying in Esbjerg, sank on her side. She was refloated 12 June 1989 but was declared a total loss by underwriters who subsequently sold her back to her owners in Nov. 1989 unrepaired.
She was later towed back to the Faeroe Islands for repairs. That is the last time I could find her in Marine News, most probably still fishing, or broken up.
05 March 1991 she sank after a collision with the tanker GOLDEN SUNSHINE in lat. 53 07N 04 26 E.
Was refloated and towed to Den Helder, Netherlands, and later towed to Esbjerg.
1992 Renamed in PETER MARLENE.
2004 Renamed in PETER M. and the same year sold to Erik Vohnsen, Thyboran, Denmark. Renamed in LOTTE VOHNSEN.
She was most probably lengthened during her last repair her tonnage was given by her last owner as 594 grt, 300 dwt, dim. 47 x 8.3 x 6.57m. IMO No 7393676
22 November 2014 she arrived in Grenaa where she was scrapped by Fornaes
