She was built in 1902 as a steel schooner by Gbr. G&H Bodewes at Martenshoek, Groningen, Netherlands.
Tonnage 102 BRT, 84 nrt., dim. 24.5 x 5.85 x 2.0m.

Built under the name STINA for Paul Lührs at Hamburg. 07 April 1902 is given that she was owned by Paul Lührs, at Helgoland, and sailed under command of Capt. P.P.Nickels. 05 Aug. 1905, sold to Sievert Adolf Engellandt, Breiholz (master and owner)
07 May 1906 renamed "ADOLF" by owner.
22 January 1913 sold to Claus Holling, Breiholz (master and owner), not renamed.
1914 Seized by Britain at Leith, under a prize court order of detention and put under English flag, she was renamed "C.S. 61", managed by Jas. Livingstone & Sons, Ltd., Grangemouth, and employed in the coastwise trade along the English coast.
1923 First time she was mentioned in Lloyds Register under the name "SOLWAY LASS" and owner given J.Carswell and Sons at Dumfries.
1935 Sold to Mrs. A.J.Andersen in Dumfries, not renamed.
1937 Sold to P.C.Pedersen at Lemvig, Denmark, not given a new name by Lloyds Register, she disappeared then from Lloyds for a long time.
1950 Re-appeared in Lloyds Register under the name "SUNDEVED" ex "BEST". (require owner's years and names under Danish flag).
1954 Auxiliary engine fitted in, registered under No J 917, tonnage 110.26 BRT, 55.97 NRT, dim. 78.1 x 18.7 x 7.5ft.
1960 Sold to H.W.Tychsen at Egersund, Denmark, tonnage given then as 105.10 BRT; 61.1 NRT.
1972 Sold to H.P.Schults & H.C.Jag at England.
1974 Sold to the Date Line Co. Ltd. Suva.
1975 Sold to G.Lai Nominees Ltd.
1976 Her Lloyds certificate gives No 5344736 under the name "SUNDEVED".
Tonnage 105.10 BRT x 61.17 NRT, dim. 84.9 x 19.3 x 7.7ft. Auxiliary engine 90 hp.
1976 Sold to Lawedua Shipping Co Ltd. Suva renamed "LAWEDUA".
1983 Owner given as Savusavo Shipping at Suva, under the name "TUI" NASAVUSAVU. Given as a two mast kits rigged, clipper stern, two bulkheads, one 6 cyl Carterpilar diesel, 190 hp. Speed 8.5 knots. Crew 15 under command of Capt. Stanley Smith, passenger accommodation for 15.
October 1983 Sold to Tim Lloyd at Sydney and converted in a harbour sight-seeing boat.
1985 By Prime Minister Nevel Wran of New South Wales commissioned and renamed "SOLWAY LASS", she was then managed by Matilda Cruises at Sydney and can carry 120 passengers.
Early 1999 refitted in a charter cruise yacht for 3 day and 3 night sailing holidays in theWhitsunday, Australia. 11 Cabins and can accommodated 32 guests.
Carries 10 sails, total sail area 5500 square feet.
