Built as an LPG carrier under yard no 367 by Higaki Zosen Shipbuilding Co. Ltd. Imabari, Japan for Mabubay Shipping Inc., Panama, and managed by Geisel Compania Maritime S.A., Panama.
09 December 1988 launched under the name BEN NEVIS
Tonnage 3.219 gross, 966 net, 3.814 dwt., dim. 99.13 x 16.00 x 7.20m., draught 5.34m.
Powered by 2 SA 6cyl diesel engines manufactured by Akasaka Diesel Ltd., Yaizu. 3.300 hp., trial speed 14.8 knots, service speed 12.7 knots.
Bunker capacity 397 tons, fresh water 202 tons, and 705 tons of water ballast.
Call sign 3ED17. Official no 890446.
Cargo capacity 3.204 cubic meters.
March 1989 delivered to owners.


After delivery was she sailing under the Singapore flag.
December 2004 sold to Jaegers Gas Shipping, Limassol, Cyprus, and renamed MONSOON.

December 2013 sold to David Maritime Inc., Sharjah, United Arab Emirates renamed TOMSON GAS.

www.equasis.org gives for 2014, the same owner, managed by Marine Shipping Line FZE., Sharjah, sailing under the flag of Panama. IMO No 8811766.
