Built under yard no 866 as a bulk/container vessel by Sunderland Shipbuilders at Deptford U.K, for Transportation Maritime Mexicana S.A. (T.M.M.), Manzanillo.
30 July 1984 launched under the name COLIMA.
Tonnage 29.660 gross, 16.094 net, 45.913 dwt. Dim. 196.04 x 32.26 x 16.80m. Draught 12.231/16.79m.
One B&W oil engine, 16.100 bhp, speed 17.5 knots.
Bunker capacity 3.410 m³, water ballast 22.418 m³, fresh water 381 m³.
Cargo capacity 56.405 cubic meter grain, 58.080 cubic meter bale.
Can carry 3.460 TEU’s. including 222 reefer containers.
April 1985 delivered.

Sailed Yokahama 30 Sept. 1989 to Los Angeles as given in Lloyds Shipping Index.

1990 Sold to Seafarers Shipping Inc., Manila, Philippines.
1996 Sold by Eridanis Carriers Corp. S.A. Philippines to Satin Shipping Corp. Panama and renamed HIGHGATE.
April 2007 sold to Navalmar UK Ltd., London, renamed in PORTLAND CASTLE.

http://www.equasis.org 2009 gives IMO No. 8215560. Under Panama flag, call sign 3EMJS same owner, and managed by BNAVI Ship Management, Italy.

2009 Sold to Porpoise Shipping Ltd., Athens, Greece and renamed in SV.MATVEY, Panama flag and registration.
2011 Sold to Anupama Steel, Alang for breaking up, arrived there 25 July 2011.
