1983 She was built under yard no 466 by Wärtsillä Helsinki Shipyard for the K/S A/S Norske Cruise.

11 July 1983 Launched under the name SEA GODDESS I, she was named on her initial voyage at Monte Carlo by Mrs. Nina Naarstad.
Tonnage 4.253 gross, 1.277 net, 525 dwt. Dim. 344.5 x 47.9 x 13.1ft. (draught)
Powered by 2 Vasa 12 cyl. 4-stroke medium speed diesel, 4.800 bhp., speed 17.5 knots, cruise speed 15 knots, two controllable pitch propellers. One bow thruster, semi-balanced rudder, and Sperry fin stabilizers.
Passenger accommodation 120 in 61 cabins, crew 61.
The building cost US $34 million.
21 March 1984 delivered.

She looks more like a yacht than a cruise vessel, she was designed to operate in worldwide cruises with a small number of passengers, by her restricted draught, she can go to places that are not accessible to large cruise ships.

After a merger, the SEA GODDESS was taken over by the Cunard Line, in 1986 and in 1998 renamed in SEABOURN GODDESS I, managed by Seabourn Cruises. Under the Bahamian flag and register.
1997 Refurbished.

July 2001 sold to a Norwegian investment group headed by Atle Brynestad, Seabourn’s original founder and owner. She was handed over on 1 September 2001, she did follow her Caribbean cruises until spring 2002 before she got a major refurbishment.

2001 Renamed SEADREAM I and managed by the Sea Dream Yacht Club, Bahamas, headed by the former chief executive of Cunard, Larry Pimental

April 2002 got a refit, has now passenger accommodation for 110, and a crew of 89.

Used for cruises in the Caribbean and the Mediterranean.
