A 4 masted Steel Barque built in 1905 by John Scott in Greenock, The last
square rigged ship built on the Clyde. 2,385gtns.L. 291 ft. B. 43ft. Dr.24ft.
Won the Australian Grain Race in 1929 sailing from Melbourne to
Queenstown in 93 days. From 1932 until WW2 she was one of Captain
Gustav Erikson's Fleet of Grain ships working to and from
Australia/Germany. In 1939 she was impounded in Britain cut down
eventually to serve as a barge, Broken up in 1949.
