Built as a fish-factory mother ship by Admiralteisk Shipyard, 61 Kommunar at Leningrad for the Russian Government.
Launched under the name POSYET.
Tonnage 18.455 gross, 5.797 net, 13.041 dwt. Dim. 197.31 x 26.24x 14.53m. Draught 8.19m.
Powered by a B&W 6 cyl. Bryansk diesel engine, 9.000 bhp., speed 14.5 knots.
Ice strengthened.
1972 Delivered. Homeport Vladivostok.

When renamed not sure, but I believe before delivery in PYATIDYESATILYETIYE SSSR. She was one of the 50 Letiye SSSR, the B type, of which 4 were built. (Stanlet Gibbons give her as 50 LET SSSR)
She was the lead ship of the class of 5 fish-meal factories.
With a complement of more as 500 could handle up to 800 tons of fish a day.
Mostly 14 till 25 trawlers, who deliver the fish to the mother-ship, accompany her.
Could at sea service the catcher fleet with logistic requirements, including medical facilities.

Sold by Joint Stock Co. Vladivostok Trawling and Refrigerator Fleet Base to Indian shipbreakers, reported May 1996.
