Built in 1970 by the yard of OY Nautors Ab, at Pietarsaari in Finland, she was designed by the Sparkman and Stephens as one of the Swan Class.
Weight 10.5 tons, length 36.6ft., beam 10.9ft., draught 6.1ft.
She is sloop rigged and has long keel and skeg.

1985 Sold to Sapper Adventure Foundation in India, renamed TRISHNA, which in Hindi means, an urge to accomplish a deep-rooted desire.
During 1985 until 1987 used for a circumnavigation around the world from India, crewed with Indian navy personnel. She sailed westward via the Panama Canal (the course is showed on the stamp.)

Thereafter she completed two more long voyages: From Bombay to Singapore and back in 1994-1995, and from Bombay to Muscat-Salalah-Mahe and back during 1996-1997.
During the Millennium she made an other voyage from Mumbai to Singapore, visiting many ports during her voyage to and from Singapore.
