Built as a coaster under yard no 280 by the Clelands Shipbuilding Co. Ltd. at Wallsend, for the Tyne Shiprepair Group at Ramsey on the island Man. The Ramsey Steamship Co managed her.
16 December 1964 launched under the name BEN VEG, translated from the Isle of Man language it means “Little Woman”.
Tonnage 346 gross, 151 net, 461 dwt., dim. 43.82 x 8.03 x 3.13m. Draught 2.86m.
One 6 cyl. Blackstone diesel, 405 shp., speed 8.5 knots.
March 1965 completed.

Special built for the transport of bulkcargo between small ports in the UK, Ireland and the Isle of Man.
1977 Laid up after her certificate of seaworthiness expired, and she could not got a new one.
1980 Sold to the Interisland Shipping Co. (West Indies) Ltd. at St Vincent, renamed BENN.

She was released from her tow during bad weather on 17 Jan. 1991 in a position about 11 20N and 65.00 W when she was towed from Port of Spain to Castries, St Lucia, thereafter never seen again, most probably sunk.
