SAMPAN market boat Thailand

The stamp depicts markets sampans in Thailand, which are selling merchandise to the boat population of Bangkok.
The larger boats can set a boomed rectangular, standing lugsail, but that has mostly gone and is replaced by an outboard engine, the smaller are only paddled as seen on the stamp.
She have a narrow square bow; rising sheer to the square stern. Washboards increase the low freeboard.
Length between 3-6 metres.
