Built by Atel. & Chant. De a Loire, St Nazaire for the Rumanian State Railways, Constantza.
1906 Launched under the name IMPERATUL TRAIAN.
Tonnage 3.068gr. 1143nt. L356.9ft. B41.9ft. Dr27.5ft.
Powered by two 3cyl. triple expansion steam engines, manufactured by de la Loire. Speed 18kn. 2 screws.
I think she was used in the same service as the DACIA.
1908 she was transferred to Roumanian State Maritime Service, Constantza.
1916 During World War I in the Russian naval service as an auxiliary cruiser and seaplane tender under the name IMPERATOR TRAYAN. Circa 1918, renamed as SOCIALNAYA REVOLUCIJA. June 1918 seized by the Germans at Sevastopol, abandoned Dec. 1918, and recovered by the Romanian owners.
1919 Renamed again IMPERATUL TRAIAN. 1927 on a voyage from Alexandria Constantza on 7th February she ran aground near Cape Tuzla. Refloated 31st September 1927 and taken to Constantza, beached and subsequently scrapped.
