HOGLA or TIRZA

The tug shown on this stamp can be the HOGLA or TIRZA both were at that time harbour tugs at the port of Ashdod. The merchant ships in the port are not identified.

Built as a harbour tug under yard No 435 by the Atlas Werke at Bremen for the Israeli Port Authorities in Ashdod.
Launched as the HOGLA.
Tonnage 158 grt, 66 dwt, dim. 65.10 x 25.8 x 11.4ft (draught).
Powered by two KHD diesel engines 950 hp, speed 11 knots.
Crew 5 in port, out of port 10.

2011 In service as given by http://www.equasis.org Israel flag, same name. IMO No 6604975 owned by Shuval Shipping, Haifa.
2015 In service, same name and owners.

The TIRZA was also built by the Atlas Werke at Bremen for the Israeli Port Authorities in Ashdod.
Launched as TIRZA.
Tonnage 188 grt, dim. 100.1 x 26.6 x 10.4ft.
Powered by two KHD diesel engines, 1,800 hp, speed 12.5 knots.
1965 Delivered to owners.

2011 In service as given by http://www.equasis.org Israel flag, same name. IMO No 6525739. Owned and managed by Ma’agan Marine & Diving, Haifa.
2012 Was she sold, owner unknown, not renamed. She sailed thereafter under Panama and Sierra Leone flag.
2015 In service, owner and flag unknown.
