MV MOUNT CAMEROON is a RoRo cargo ship and was built as MERCANDIAN NAUTIC as yard no. 423 by Danyard A/S of Frederikshavn (Denmark) for Rederi K.S Mere-Skandia l of Copenhagen in 1987.
In 1989 she was chartered and renamed MOUNT CAMEROON by the Nile Dutch Africa Line of Rotterdam. At the end of 1994 or early 1995 she was given back to her original owners.
Length 163.8Im. Beam 23.5Im. Draught 8.80m. Depth 14.23m. 19,689 gross tons. 9,257 net. with a deadweight of 14.103 tons . Passenqer accommodation for 10 persons. Ice strengthened and fitted with a 6-cylinder MaK diesel of 9.000bhp (= 6620Kw) 1 screw. 1 thw. thrust Contr. pitch propeller forward and one aft. She has a speed of 16 knots.
She was also provided with a side door/ramp on starboard side and 2 stern door/ramps. They are all 18.50 x 7.30 metres. MOUNT CAMEROON can transport either 648 cars, 205 trailers or 725 TEU containers, of which 72 may be refrigerated containers.
Her LRS No is 8501464.

09 November 1987 launched as the MERCANDIAN NAUTIC.
29 December 1987 completed.

1995 Sold to Vakif Deniz Finansal Kiralama A.S., Turkey, renamed UND PRENSES.
1992 Sold toUlusoy Deniz Tasimaciligi, Istanbul, Turkey and renamed ULUSOY 5

2011 In service same name and owners, managed by Ulusoy Denizyollari, Istanbul. IMO No. 8501464.
According the company web-site in the service between Cesme, Turkey to Trieste, Italy.

2024 In service same name and flag now owned by Ulusoy Lojistik Tasimacilik.
