FPSO CIDADE DE ANGRA DOS REIS MV22

In 2012 the Brazilian post issued one stamp which depict the FPSO CIDADE DE ANGRA DOS REIS MV22, which is time chartered by Petroleo Brasileiro S.A. (Petrobas) for 15 years + 5 one year options.

The Brazilian post gives by the issues:
The stamp represents the Lula field, which originates from the Tupi accumulation and located in the Santos Basin.
At the centre of the stamp is the vessel of Petrobras oil production, which is anchored and her pipe is connected with the ocean floor.
Below the ship you can see the deep waters of the Santos Basin then via the salt layer they reach the pre-salt layer, where the oil is from extracted.

The vessel depict was identified by Mr Dan Rodlie as the FPSO CIDADE DE ANGRA DOS REIS MV22.
Built as a tanker under yard No 2997 by Ishikawajima Harima Heavy Industries Co. Ltd, Kure Shipyard in Japan for Tokyo Tanker Co. Pte. Ltd, Singapore
09 February 2009 ordered.
11 September 1990 keel laid down.
14 February 1991 launched as the SUNRISE I
Tonnage 148,859 grt, 76,211 nrt, 259,530 dwt, dim. 330.0 x 58.0 x 29.7m, length bpp 315.5m.
Powered by one 2SA 8-cyl. diesel engine, 21,719 kW, speed 15.5 knots.
Bunker capacity 5,372 m³.
12 June 1991 completed, Panama flag and registry.

2000 Sold to Liberian Jerboa Transports Inc, Panama, renamed in SUNRISE IV.
2008 Sold to Tupi Pilot MV 22 BV, Singapore and renamed RISE IV.
2010 Converted to a Floating Storage and Offloading System (FPSO) vessel by Cosco Shipyard Co. Ltd., Dalian, China.
Renamed in FPSO CIDADE DE ANGRADOS REIS MV22, under Bahamian flag with homeport Nassau.
Tonnage 151,446 grt, 92,935 nrt. 259,530 dwt.

She extracted her first oil in October 2010 from the Tupi Field off Brazil.
Capable of processing up to 100,000 barrels of oil per day and 5 million m³ of gas.

2013 In operation managed by Modec International Inc., Houston. IMO No 8919348.
