Her keel was laid on 29th June 1951 and she was the 110th vessel built for the company by Harland and Wolff.
She was launched on 3rd December 1952 and delivered on 26th February 1953.
On 18th June 1970 she was sold to the Crystal Blue Shipping Co., of Panama and renamed ERATINI.

Tonnage 5,690 grt, 3,323 nrt, 8,967 dwt. Dim. 137.0 x 18.1m, length bpp. 129.7m.
Powered by one 6-cyl 2 S.C.S.A.diesel engine manufactured by the shipbuilder, 5,100 bhp, one shaft, speed 14.5 knots.

Most of her career under the Bank flag was she used in the service from the U.K. to the USA East Coast, then via the Panama Canal to New Zealand and Australia.
After discharging there she sailed to the Pacific Islands to load copra and copra oil back to North Europe, the round voyage took around 5 months.
06 July 1959 grounded on the coral reef in the entrance of the English Channel on Fanning Island, Pacific. With the assistant of the USA rescue and salvage ship USS CURRENT she was refloated on 24 July 1959, at that time was she underway from Vavau, Tonga to the U.K.
After inspection by divers from the USS CURRENT it was found that the ship did not have bottom damage and she could proceed to her destination.
1970 Sold to the Crystal Blue Shipping Co. S.A., Panama and renamed in ERATINI.
1972 Sold to Arco Cia. Nav. S.A., Panama, renamed PROVIMI STAR. Under Greek flag and registry.
From 21 February 1978 until 10 May 1981 laid up at Piraeus, Greek.
1981 She was sold to Telloska Cia, Nav. S.A. Panama. Greek registry.
Was sold to Pakistan breakers, and arrived Karachi 04 June 1981.
Sold to M. M. Bakshi shipbreaker and she arrived Gadani Beach 1982 to be broken up.
