Built as a wooden hulled transport by the shipbuilder Y.A. Kolodkin at Lodeynoe Pole, Russia for the Imperial Russian Navy.
14 October 1816 laid down.
18 June 1818 launched as the LADOGA, one sister the BLAGONAMERENNYI.
Tonnage 230 ton. Dim. approx. 36.6 x 9.2 x 4.6m.
Built of pine, timbers reinforced with iron for the Baltic ice.
Armament 14 – 3pdrs and 6 carronades.
Crew 72.

Converted into a sloop for circumnavigation and renamed MIRNYI or MIRNY on 22 April 1819.
03 July 1819 sailed under command of Lt Lzarev together with the sloop VOSTOK for the Antarctic
16 January 1820 reached the Antarctic continent, discovered Alexander I Island.
Made a call in Sydney, Australia before returning to Kronshtadt on 24 July 1821.
Between 1822 and 1824 cruised to Rostock.
From 1826 till 1828 carried cargo.
1825 Was she fire watch ship at Sveaborg.
October 1828 damaged by a storm.
1830 Broken up.
