SPL PRINCESS ANASTASIA ferry

A joint issues of Aland land and Russia in 2013 shows us the ferry PRINCESS ANASTASIA.

Built as a ro-ro passenger cargo ship under yard No 1290 by Oy Wärtsilä Ab, Turku, Finland for Partrederi M/V/ Olympia (Rederi AB Slite), Slite.
10 September 1984 ordered.
01 April 1985 laid down.
31 August 1985 launched as the OLYMPIA, one sister the MARIELLA.
Tonnage 37,583 grt, 23,730 nrt, 3,420 dwt., dim. 176.82 x 28.41 x 6.71m.
Powered by four Pielstick-Wärtsilä 12PC2-6v-400 diesel engines, 23,000 kW.
Accommodation for 2,500 passengers.
Can carry 580 cars.
26 April 1986 delivered to owners, homeport Slite.

29 April 1986 in the Viking Line ferry service between Stockholm and Helsinki.
April 1993 chartered by P&O European Ferries, Portsmouth, U.K.
May 1993 renamed by owners in PRIDE OF BILBAO.
May 1993 in the service between Portsmouth – Bilbao and Portsmouth – Cherbourg.
October 1993 sold to Irish Continental Group, Dublin, Ireland and registered as owner Zatarga Ltd., Nassau, Bahamas, still in charter by P&O.
30 November 1993 delivered to new owners.
1994 Transferred to British Registry with homeport Portsmouth.
2002 Again in the service between Portsmouth and Bilbao or Portsmouth to Cherbourg.
January 2003 her interior was refitted.
Thereafter in the service from Portsmouth to Le Havre or Cherbourg.
December 2004 returned to her regular service
November 2008 transferred to Bahamas registry, with homeport Nassau.
28 September 2010 was her last day in the service between Bilbao and Portsmouth.
November 2010 renamed in BILBAO, and transferred to Cyprus registry. Owner given as Irish Ferries Ltd., Limassol.
22 November 2010 her charter with P&O finished.
03 December 2010 bareboat chartered to St Peter Line, Limassol, Cyprus, under management of DFDS Seaways AB, Lithuania.
29 December 2010 sailed from Falmouth to Klaipeda, Lithuania for a refit.
March 2011 Renamed in SPL PRINCESS ANASTASIA, under Malta registration with homeport Valletta.
31 March 2011 in service between St Petersburg – Stockholm – Tallinn – St Petersburg.
03 August 2011 also calling at Helsinki and Mariehamn in the service.
21 February 2011 owned by Princess Maria Ltd., St Petersburg, Russia
18 May 2012 there was a bomb threat in Stockholm, the ship was evacuated, but noting was found.

August 2013 in service, http://www.equasis.org gives still under Malta flag, IMO No 8414582, same name, owners and manager.
