HORNELEN. Built in 1866 by Mitchell & Co. Newcastle, England for Nordre Bergenhus Amts Dampskibe, Norway. 256Gt. 1248Nt. L130A'. B20.8'. Dr11.2'. Powered by a 2-cyl compound engine. 47nhp. made by Nylands MV Krinstiana, Oslo. She could carry 175 Passengers. On the 27th December 1915 she grounded and sank in calm weather at Svanbukten on a voyage from Svartvik to Bergen. She was raised and put back into service in 1917. In 1919 the company's name was changed to Fylkesbaatane i Sogn of Fjordane, Bergen. Once again she grounded in Feiefjord on 11th December 1926. She was salvaged and after lengthy repairs was put back into service. In 1951 she was sold to Stavanger Skipsophugning Co. Stavanger for breaking up.
