Egyptian warship 1200 BC

The warship depict on this stamp is an Egyptian warship with a battering ram from circa 1200 BC. She had one powerful steering oar on the stern, one single mast, conventionally stayed, the mast carried a fighting top which was manned by archers, and the first time the fighting top is seen on a ship. High planked bulwarks protected the rowers. Sailed or rowed.
Were used for patrol of the Egyptian coast or as troop transport in which she could carry up to 250 soldiers.
