TERESA OF SARK

When you look careful you can see on the bow of the launch when you enlarge the stamp the name TERESA OF SARK.
She was built in 1972 by Cheverton Workboats Ltd., Cowes, U.K. for Isle of Sark Shipping Co. Ltd.
21 March 1972 launched as the TERESA OF SARK.
Dim. 12.19 x 3.54 x 1.22m.
Two Thornycroft/Ford diesels ?hp, speed 15 knots.
Accommodation for 46 passengers.
24 March 1972 delivered to owners in Guernsey.

Used in the service between Guernsey and Sark.
12 April 1973 after fitted out with a stern cockpit enclosed, and provision of extra entrance doors each side aft again in service.
18 April 1975 on trial after new General Motors Detroit diesel were installed, and top of cabin built up to allow extra headroom.
March 1983 sold to Boscome & Weymouth Sea Cruises Ltd.
Not anything on her thereafter or the company I could find on the internet.

In the mid to late 80's I fished on this boat for a few years running out of Bridlington - charter fishing for cod & ling etc - skipper Mick Tranmere - the enclosed rear passenger area had been removed to leave a large open rear deck.
During this time Mick had the two Detriot diesels replaced with Ford diesels to save fuel is my recollection - many happy times if v cold in winter!
