Built as a cargo vessel under yard No. 185 by Gebr. Schlömer in Oldersum, Germany for Sea and Continental Waterways Transport Ltd., London.
May 1968 launched under the name SEACON.
Tonnage 199.9 gross, 138 net, 382dwt., dim. 44.66 x 7.35 x 3.08m., draught 2.67m.
Powered by an Atlas-MAK diesel engine, 400bhp., one screw, speed 10 knots.
Bunker capacity 12m³.
Cargo capacity 522m³ grain, 483m³ bale.
July 1968 completed.

07 October 1970 in collision with the Belgium R.T.M. ferry ARTEVELDE near the Eastern entrance of Dover, the SEACON sank.
12 December 1970 refloated, and towed to Emden on 04 February 1971 for repair.
After repair renamed in SEA TRENT.
1973 In service for Freight Express Seacon Ltd., London.
1974 Sold to Alderney Shipping Ltd., not renamed.
In the cargo service from the British South coast to Alderney, Guernsey and Jersey.
1982 Sold to Harry Keiken, Hamburg and renamed NATHURN.
1986 Sold to Mezeron Ltd., Ramsey, Isle of Man, renamed SILVER RIVER.
Around 1990 her main engine was replaced by a 12-cyl. Caterpillar diesel engine, manufactured by Caterpillar Tractor Co.,Peoria, Ilinois USA, 349kW., speed 9 knots.

Her gross tonnage now given as 277 ton.

2023 In service, same name and owner.
