Built as a tanker under yard No 2018 by the Koyo Dockyard Co. Ltd. of Mihara, Japan for the Palace Tankers Inc., Marshall Islands, managed by Tai Chong Cheang Steamship Co (HK) Ltd., Hong Kong.
27 July 1990 launched under the name CSK VALIANT.
Tonnage 52.511 gt. 97.151 dwt., dim 246.88 x 42.88 x 13.42m. (draught).
Powered by one 6-cyl. Sulzer diesel, 12.248 bhp. speed 14.8 knots.
Has eight tanks for carrying oil.

2002 Sold to Tulip Navigation, Greece, and managed by Cardiff Marine, Greece. Renamed TAMARA and registered under the flag of Malta.
2008 Sold to Ocean Blue Spirit Owners Inc., Marshall Islands, not renamed.

2009 as given by http://www.equasis.org : Same owner and manager.
Call sign 9HHD7. IMO No. 9002154.

January 2011 sold to Al Marwah International Nav., Jeddah, Saudi Arabia and renamed in FAISAL
08 May 2016 arrived at Gadani Beach, and scrapping commenced on 18 May 2016,

Faisal (ex-Tamara, ex-CSK Valiant). IMO 9002154. Double hull tanker. Length 247 m, 15,369 ton.
Saudi Arabia flag. Classification society Bureau Veritas. Built-in 1990 in Mihara (Japan) by Koyo DY Co.
Owned by Red Sea Marine Services (Saudi Arabia). Sold for demolition in Pakistan. 318 US $ per ton.
